Lots of nice textures and development, especially when the pads come in around two minutes in and things get really lush and full. The tonal shift in the middle really gives this a hugely cinematic feel, as it’s basically telling us a story. The middle part is a great expansion of the story with a lot of drama and excitement.

So much panning in this. Creating a very foresty atmosphere with the flutes and birds. Song jumps between mellow and somewhat aggressive with big drum hits. Second half goes darker and more post rock with a big climax. Last part brings it back around to the panned acoustic guitars but with a different vibe.

Panning effects in this one go crazy, I also really respect the buildup of effects and instruments, there’s a lot of things slowly being added that create a cool sense of progress, the way everything is aggressively panned also makes it feel very dynamic and atmospheric. I’m not huge on the drum hits in the first quarter or so, they feel super loud and strong for what sounds like it should be a slow buildup? Maybe I’ll warm up to it. Production is mostly clean. Slide guitar halfway through is a great touch for stuff like this. Sudden time signature shift. See, the drum hits fit so much better at this point because it transitions into a loud part. Great loud indie sound in the climax. I wish the loud part lasted a little bit longer but that’s a nitpick. Strong start.

Thank you for opening the month with an extremely fitting track anon! The atmosphere and sound design really make all the difference. Even the clapping, loved it! But the bass, guitar and performance in general are also great. Loved those soundscapes and buildup as well. What starts a cozy trip up a mountain, gets serious and emotional. I predict a medal!

Very nice pan flutes and clapping to start this off, makes you feel like you may be partaking on a journey at a campfire. Acoustic comes in with good tone, but feels a little swallowed by the clapping. Drums/stomping feel a bit heavy given the vibe though. Snare cuts through nice and cleanly when it comes in, along with what sounds like spoons? Electric guitar tone is really nice, and cymbals are well balanced between everything Really enjoy the nice ambiance with this tune – not too hectic and very woodsy/mysterious. Nice solid drum groove around 3:10 to help to start drive this a little more – but again the bass feels a bit heavy. Transition back out of the heavier section to the initial instrumentation was smooth – and the bird sounds add that feeling of the previous section being a storm coming through then clearing out. Very nice anon

Lots of cool panning going on and the soundcapey nature of the whole thing is extremely up my alley with the arpeggios and the reverb-drenched sounds. Great build-up and later de-build-up.

Oh NICE start. This soundscape is immaculate. Claps, birds, bottles?

Nitpick, I feel the strummed instrument at 0:36 is a tad harsh on the right side? Anyway.

Bass and acoustic sound great together. These pulsing drums give a great feel, but they do feel just a tad robotic. Oh, and now the drumkit is joining! Sounds great.

Changeup at 3:10ish, great buildup. OH and now we’re doing post rock? I should’ve known this was a post rock tune! Ah yeah I love the rhythm guitar tone. It sits EXACTLY where it needs to. WAIT A SECOND did you modulate between 6 and 4? 😮 I just noticed. What an incredible start!

Nice vibes in the intro, that bottle-ish thing is fun. First minute is kind of a build-up until a melody hits at 0:56. Lovely sounds in general, acoustic guitar sounds really clean. There’s an interesting percussion on this section doing straight beats that’s a cool contrast. After the melody enters there’s like a minute or so where more and more elements enter the soundscape and it sounds great. A second “section” starts around 2:40, there’s another build-up with a tempo increase that ends up in a heavy distorted guitar section. Awesome payoff.
Overall, excellent work! Great arrangement and great production. One of the best of the month IMO.

The soundscape on this track is pretty incredible. Up until we get to the post rock section it’s about perfect to me!!

The post rock section it’s — idk it’s a little too open to me? There’s something in the soundscape that doesn’t feel anchored – I think maybe it needs a little more subbass to just really make it open up even wider. Just seems a little crowded in the mids but I think more low end would compensate.

That’s my nitpick for this overall great track.
