This is so outside my wheelhouse but I’ll do my best. Smoothe deep voice is very easy on the ears. Stylish beat. Cool acoustic guitar. I enjoy that deep bass.
    Production notes: Sounds good.

I know of PaRappa, but I never played it. However, the vocals here are top notch and my gut tells they’re a good fit for this source. Would love to hear more from the vocalist in this style, but with a little more variety music-wise. The playing is good, but it become monotone after a minute or so. I suspect my lack of familiarity with the source might be affecting this review.

I appreciate this one a fuckton, it’s such a fresh thing to hear in DoD, really nice flow chill rapping, very Gorillaz esque, the background beat is really well done, it has a really crisp sound and the drum beat hits just right, it might be a tad repetitive, but for this length and this vibe, I really don’t mind, excellent work. If I had to nitpick something, I think some backing vocals or responding lines here and there would’ve worked great to add some extra spice.

Damn now this vibe really hits the vibe of the game. Vocals are extremely well balanced against the instruments, instruments help drive but don’t distract from the vocals. Lyrics are also well done, and again I would totally believe this is a level in the game. Not much else to say here, great work anon

I love this vibe and beat, but just me, or isn’t it kinda weird that there are the rap “calls” but no “responses?” The silence makes the phrases (and by extension the song) feel incomplete to me. Also, makes the song feel longer than it ought to. You need someone to play off of!

I enjoy this when I think of it as a Gorillaz song, that was a good call. I’m actually just going to agree wholesale with Joe’s review – there’s a lot of dead air in here that makes the song drag, especially since the backing track isn’t changing up dramatically for long stretches of time. Good spirit and creativity here though!
