Title makes it sound way happier than it actually is, this sounds quite sad and dramatic and reflective, must be the cello. It also has some very wacky chord progressions. Not a lot happening besides the very slow reflective vibe, which is well done, but I kinda want it to surprise me a lil bit more and do some twists and turns.

Lovely little lo-fi piano and strings number. I can hear some room for rubato in these passages to help them feel less robotic, but what’s presented is still expressive. Careful with the attack on that celeste(?), 2:36-2:42 has some rhythmic dissonance on the tails of the notes that hurts the delivery on that outro. Great piece overall, anon!

This is quite nice! Feels like an official soundtrack piece, which seems to apply to a lot of songs this month. I felt like it went on a little long at the same dynamic level to really keep my interest in this type of competition, but that’s not a knock on you – you clearly knew what you were doing with this arrangement.

Very peaceful. Very nice. Why am I reminded of old disney? This is a very relaxing track. Not a whole lot too it, though. Some slight tempo fluctuations could take this track to the next level. It is very pretty though.

This reminds me of that seen with Edward in FF4.
The vibes are good and the performances are super good. When it’s a chill track you have to get every ounce of dynamics out as possible – and this could use some more tempo as if it were a live performance in the room. It’s a lot of effort but the payoff can be big.

It’s nice to hear soft and gentle themes. This one is pretty lo-fi, we got some pretty strong high cut on the piano. I think this is intentional to make it sound kind of “old” (though I don’t get the feeling that the cello has the same high cut). The song’s a bit whimsical, but also melancholy. Really nicely arranged!

This arrangement is so strong and the vibe is so calming that it’s one of the songs I’ll be listening to outside of DoD for a long time to come.

Beautiful sound. Not much to add to this one. Very lovely to listen to!

love this lofi piano, très calme et apaisant.
Merci anon

Very nice piano – bit of a skipping along feeling – with the cello and any other strings helping to give a nicer calmer backing voice. Really do get the title-like vibe of taking a nice stroll in a clear moonlit sky. Left hand arpeggios in the piano are nice and balanced, and the right hand twinkling melody does feel like it’s just skipping along. Cello gets to shine a bit more around the 1:30 mark, but would like to see even more melody given to the cello at some point. Overall, very beautiful and classically styled arrangement anon(s)!

Oh man this is beautiful. I know too dry is often a complaint of mine, but maybe taming the reverb a bit more and/or a little less reverb would’ve done good? Sometimes it feels like the piano was a bit overshadowed by other instruments going on. Though I’m not familiar with the source.

Mimir Month representation! Thanks for the cozy track anon, this one is among the most mellow I’ve heard to date in the competition.
