Really to me all this is missing is some vocals talking about how you don’t have a woman so won’t cry or … something.
The playing and the vibe are immaculate – and I LOVE that stereo bass sound.

The vibe here is super cool. The track is a little more minimal than other DoD songs, but it’s funky, the solo is cute and quirkly, and overall this one really stands out because of its uniqueness.

This one sounds wet and watery. Splashy and whatnot. Very bompulous sound. Can’t not like it. I love it. A bunch of weird sounding instruments to me, yet another very clear and balanced production. Solid concept and even solider execution. Fantastic.

That electronic percussion is fucking AWESOME, this is the type of creative electronic shit that I love, the one where you really put that variety to good use, SO many good sounds happening here and they’re distributed well for an onslaught of ear candy, everything is very well balanced in the mix too. There’s so much groove in that lead playing and the drum beat. Love this to bits.

This is one interesting take! Love the guiro and some of the aux percussion going on here. Very spare rhythm actually helps to keep this one interesting. Very interesting tones for the synth, kind of helps to keep it fresh. Really enjoying the fact we’re getting more an aux percussion driven rhythm than just full drumset. Main synth solo really gets off, very nice that its driving the rhythm so hard and not fully depending on a groove to keep it going. Though the drop off to just the synth at the end is just touch abrupt – overall this was a fun, quirky piece.

This is, I don’t know what to call it, a goofy soundscape? But I kinda love it.
Oh hey guiro, I hear you. Actually all the percussion is top notch. When the rhythm section drops out briefly: super nice. Synth choices are great: pads, leads, love it. But yeah the star is definitely the percussion. Excellent stuff.

Very interesting. I love the synth bass and the reggae-like snare fills. Lead synth sound is a little silly but the writing/playing is nice.
The delayed background stuff adding a triplet feel to it was a nice touch.

KIRBY <3. I love the drumkit, the snare is so dirty in a good way. Omg the instrumentation is really trippy, everything feels like it’s slightly detuned or something like that. The bass sample is so good and the writing is jumpy, I dig it. Also really like the synths, they’re soft but stand out. I particularly love the low tuned lead on the solo, so much fun. Incredible vibes on this weird track, one of my favorites for sure.
