the vocal backing was really well arranged for this. I didn’t see it coming but it adds a lot of character.
The arrangement itself is very straightforward and fun – the guitar solo had a few little hiccups but overall I loved how it sounded and the way things were set in the mix along with the arrangement.

I like the mixture here of the vocals (falsetto?) and the really noodly solo head. The highs are mixed really really nicely and everything fits together. Dreamy.

Good mystical lead synth choice, and the bass tone is fucking, vocals are a great atmospheric touch as well, I wish they were a tad louder, but I appreciate them a lot as a supporting background element. This is doing a lot of cool things in the first half, however whenever there are rhythmic elements in the background (like the bass and some of the keys) and almost NO percussion, I always feel like something is sorely missing. Drums come banging on the second half which is admittedly a little too late for me. Drum playing is definitely live but the timing on it lacks a bit of tightness to really glue with the rest of the instruments, which makes the whole thing sound a little too loose when you’re looking for that tight GROOVE.

Piano and mallets opening for the win, very nice and mysterious – soundscapes help accentuate that well. Then the bass hits and that plus the other piano help to really start driving this forward. Background vocals help to also add to the air of mystery in this. Flute adds some nice color on top of this too. Drums help give an extra kick to this, but the toms and snare just feel either a touch echoey or too dead – but the overall feel matches in well with it all. Guitar then coming in also helps give some nice energy, though any flute thats still around here gets drowned out a bit. Love the gradual reduction with just the mallets, piano, and vocals, reducing down to just the mallets at the end. Very fun arrangement anon!

Very chill. I like when the groove comes in around 1 minute. Wow is everything live? That’s cool. But it also feels like the timing is off in some parts. The mix is also dark, I would like to hear more highs on the drums and guitars in particular. Cool track.

More lovely atmospheric synths, I adore the sound choice for that intro arpeggio. Cool bass sound too, although the timing with the drums clashes a little. Love the backing vocal pads.

Drums feel a bit farther than they should for my taste. I like the atmosphere. I like the bass tone. Lead guitar tone is smooth and the vocal aaaaaahs really help set a tone.

A cover of probably the best track on Dream Team! Begins with some piano before we get a cool bass groove. As a nitpick, some of the samples are a bit undefined and hard to properly identify the notes they’re playing. Guitar and percussion enter around a minute in, nice vibe! Drum mix could be a bit punchier, volume is unbalanced between the kit (toms and hats are much louder than kick/snare).
Overall, cool track! Lots of vibes.
