Awesome metal sound, very punchy guitar+bass+drum sound, it feels like someone is punching my ears. As much as I love the rhythm guitar sound it might be overshadowing the leads which are quiet by comparison. Not a whole lot more to say, it keeps a real solid vibe though the whole thing and doesn’t overstay. Very much a sound I’d expect to hear in some AAA fighting game.

Bog Standard metal take on the track of the same title from the OST and not a damn thing wrong with that. Feels a little like Goldeneye with that delicious chord planing after the chorus riff. Mix is solid, would love to hear more of the attack on the bass guitar but it’s nice and tight with the kick drum which is more desirable. Love the harmonics on the riff on the outro!!

The mix and instrumentation remind me of a Tales battle track by Motoi Sakuraba. This is super clean and well balanced.

This is rad as hell – the piano adds so much richness to the mix. Cammycakes called out a Motoi Sakuraba comparison and I totally agree with that! Feels like something out of an official OST or arrange album. My lack of commentary should in no way suggest that I didn’t love this, especially given my familiarity with the source!

Ok this one sounds thicc. I really dig it. My only gripe is that the palm muted guitars sound to perfect. Don’t know if it’s that they’re sampled, or quantized to perfection, or just played too damn well, or maybe it’s just a modern sound that I’m not used to. But they give me a bit of a robotic vibe which is not super my cup of tea but also does very much sound like it’s a professional production made for an OST. (Maybe i’m just such a sloppy guitarist, that your playing makes me call you a robot)
I like that the lead guitar is not overbearing and sits in the mix perfectly. I can hear both the lead melody and the thicc chonk of the rhythm guitars very clearly.
I could loop this track plenty and I don’t think I would grow too tired. Very cool track
    Great job

Great tone, great playing. Drums could benefit from a bit more variety; particularly in the setpiece around 1:45ish. Maybe turn up the instrument playing the B section melody a tiny bit? It’s hard to hear what it is at its current volume. Rest of the mix is excellent.

All I can say is this guitar tone

Maybe the rhythms could be a smidge less in the 4k range???? I’m reaching for feedback honestly.

The tones are good maybe the lead performance could be a little more lyrical with some heavier vibrato at points.

This is super solid “level” music. Like I want this in the background of my side-scrolling game – fits everything to a tee with respect to arrangement decisions, instrument choice, and overall vibe. The guitar tones are super good.

Coming in hot! Great sounding chugs. Like, really good. Production is tight, I’m enjoying it a lot. Nitpick on the arrangement, it is pretty much at the same level all the way through and would benefit from some push and pull. I enjoyed listening to that a lot!

Very heavy right off the bat. Would like a little more of the keys and a little less of the drums – given how consistent the drums are playing they feel a touch overbearing. Lead guitar can definitely come up more too, feels like the rhythm guitars are a bit louder than the lead. Overall this is a really fun arrangement, I love the vibe on it – just some different instrument balancing could really get this one to shine more

balancing issues are the biggest thing I’d focus on – I know audible drums are good, but the bass/leads may have lost out a bit compared to the drums/rhythm guitar. Keys might be better off sitting in a different space. I don’t know how you have them at the moment, but being a little more aggressive on panning may be worth trying? I’ve been personally playing more with the stereo field since I add Too Much to my tracks lately. Still, this is sick. I’m all here for the Metalvania block.

Love the performances here, except maybe the drums (they get tiresome after a bit). This would have greatly benefited from some live drums and some more deviations, in my opinion. Still, piano, synths and guitars really stand out.
