Wow the way this starts is great, immediately makes me curious and excited to hear more. There’s so much detail crammed in just that first minute with everything you’re doing with the soundscape and the electronic beat, it makes for such a rich listen. The woodwind performance is also fantastic. I don’t know this source, but it kinda feels like you grabbed a short jingle and squeezed all the juice into a really complete package. Favorite so far.

Cinematic electronica with flute, oh anon – great take on this track! Could use a bit more meat from that kick and bass, though the filtered breakbeats are solid right where they are. Glitches and key changes keep this feeling fresh throughout. Mmmm sweet violin to close – the title is on point, anon!

Really nice job blending the softness of flute with the harder electric sounds. I really like the weird ending.

Really cool use of what seem like a few different flutes here! The textural elements are well-developed although the mix is definitely a little uneven – it sounds like it’s approaching what I’d expect from the UK Garage/chillstep genre but didn’t quite stick the landing on the mixdown in terms of drum/bass balance, and the flute definitely feels drowning in reverb. I think this needs a little more pre-delay so it retains the sense of ambient space without feeling literally drowned out. The actual songwriting feels great but some of the transitions are not totally smooth. Still a cool style that I haven’t heard on DoD before!

Vibey as hell this one. The flutes are rad. Good emotive phrases here. Not familiar with this style much but it’s mixed and arranged well as far as I can tell. You could hold sections for ab it longer though. I feel like just as I start to enjoy some parts you change it up. Ending is a tad awkward. Overall cool piece

Really hard for me to come up with constructive feedback for this – what a unique take on this song. Keeping the flute sound alive with the rest of the tune going electronica feels so good. Lovely stuff.

this was such a good vibe – I almost wish it had more of that sub bass like true liquid DNB but that’s such a nitpick.

It’s an EDM song mixed with some really pleasant live instruments. The dubstep FM bass behind synth flutes is an interesting decision – I’m wishing the bass was a bit more present (or, alternatively, less wobbly), since here the lead instruments really want to draw attention and they’re well-played. These strings are good too. The exchange between the different lead instruments is great. I think the drums want to hit a bit harder.

This entry was a pleasant surprise in many ways. I love the sound effects and the fact that we get train music two months in a row. The arrangement is really something else: blending piano, what sounds like real flute and maybe strings with drum and bass, a genre I wouldn’t have expected at all for this source. The result is eerie and unique.

This is starting out very promising with the electronic foundation and flute. ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT chord changes at ~1:15. Ugh, the resolve back to the I chord is immaculate. I don’t have anything else to say! Great track.

electro-tibetan/native / things….
i love it , the wind instrument is so well played and the overall quality is super

Nice soundscapes to start this off, before the flute comes in with the melody. Flute pops out nicely against the electronica as we enter this first section. Strings and piano could bear to come up a bit though. Nice few seconds of the lo-fi really help to grab the attention of the listener. Piano/music box/glockenspiel sounds is really nice, so is the backing triangle and wind chimes that come in around 2:00 or so. Nice string quartet ending helps to bring this into a quiet and calm finish. All in all, great arrangement, flute playing is really exquisite on this track.

woah this is sick. Love the sound design on this. The biggest thing I think I’d love to hear is more of a push on the low end, but this is sick.
