Oooohhh what is this garage sounding drumkit? It has a DIY sound in the best way, and the playing is great. Love the vibe in this one just as much as the last one, it feels more restrained but it gives it a very catchy groove. Drums are KILLING IT. Bass person rocking it also. The e-piano! I think the solo features could be louder, they get a bit buried in the mix and while I can still hear everything, I’m not able to really pick out all the details, I can still tell those performances are fire though. Really fucking fun interpretation of this source with enough changeups to keep me on my toes.

Lofi jazz drum solo at the head, let’s go!! Oh yeah, anon, this one is also very groovy. Would love it a hair louder but hey, that’s what my volume knob is for. Bass solo could definitely be more present – it’s saying some cool shit and it’s not quite audible enough for me.
Very fun jam overall, thanks anon!

This is a really solid jazz arrangement. It strays pretty fair from the original track, which is both a good and bad thing depending on the audience. Excellently produced, reminds me a lot of Pat Metheny. I love the ending breakdown on this, definitely elevated the song for me.

love the drum intro. Overall the mix in this one isn’t doing it for me. Drums feel over squashed, bass is muffled, guitar is quiet. This one has a ton of potential, just needs a better mix. It’s got such a solid vibe with really good performances, so I really hope this gets a second pass on the mix.

This is just banger solo after banger solo. That bass solo was insane. I don’t think it had to be lowpassed quite as hard as you had it even though that’s kind of the style. I love it otherwise.
The drum intro was so sick too. I feel like I’m vibing in some college showcase rn. Nice shit.

Mix could use some work on this one – it’s really quiet and generally quite muffled sounding. Love the drumming and the bass solo, they’re just hard to hear. this organ solo is also quite solid but, same mix concerns.

Nice vibe – upbeat and exciting. The sounds are alternatively little too “back” for me, like the drums could use more presence. The arrangement though sounds smooth, really good EP performance.

MULTIWAH is a tough act to follow, but this managed to bring such a unique take to the same theme and stand completely on its own right. I agree that the mix was underwhelming, but the performances and overall vibes were undeniable <3 I love this style, and hearing this source done this way was a real treat.

A drum intro? Interesting! It sounds far away, so I’m kind of expecting like a jazz club vibe. And as the other instruments come in, it does feel kind of like that! I think the keys sound a little dry compared to the drums. Other parts like the clean guitar solo fit better, though the guitar tone is very mid-heavy and could be balanced with the other instruments with more highs.
Nice groove shift at 3:30. I like the trading lines between keys and guitar shortly after too!

Yeah drum solo intro! The sound of it does feel a bit dull and really too far back, but the intensity and groove in there really helps to drive this opening – before the bass comes in. Actually, as everything comes in overall this arrangement feels like it’s just really in the back of the room mixing wise – gives a garage band sound but everything just feels a touch distant. I think I hear some triangle going in and accentuating the drums at times? Bass line is really grooving and moving – love a nice bass focus, though at this point the drums feel like they may be a little too much over the bass groove. Drummer is all over the place in a good way on this track – they are just grooving and really throwing some nice fills in. And that ending is spot on, love the chord just hanging as the drums drive through to the end. All in all, this is a slapping arrangement, and a really nice complement to the other MKDS track, just some minor balance tweaks to really kick this to the next level.

When dealing with live drums, I think processing is doubly important. The performances are really great, and the arrangement’s solid. I think just going back and revisiting the mix would be good. Like the bass solo is AWESOME, but it gets drowned out by the organ keys. I think there’s a couple of mix breakdowns on DoD? Including one PuD did of one of my tracks before? Still, please keep subbing. These performances and the arrangement are sick.

The volume here was a bit low, but that might be attributed to the quality of the recording. Performances however, are out of this world! This type of live jazz ensemble full of improvisation and solos is exactly my jam, would love to see them play. All performers seem to really vibe with one another, and the music just flows in and out of the source. Not one bit feels out of place or boring. The only thing holding this down is the recording, in my opinion.
