Jaw harp fuck yeah. This is another one that reminds me of how awesome it is to have live instruments, especially when EVERYTHING sounds live. Cute whistling, great guitars, flutes, percussion, all the performances here are really great. Mix sounds interesting, it’s a very amateur sound in the sense that it feels like a bunch of people grouped together in a really small room. The performances are all incredibly charming though, very fun listen.

Awwww hell yeah it’s like street corner busking in Hyrule’s market. Jaw harp is a cool choice, mixing is great – gives you that live and up close feel that the arrangement sets up perfectly. Reminds me of sitting in at another band’s rehearsal space where they just go off for fun – thanks for the great time, anon!

I LOVE the variety of instruments, from mongolian throat singing to whistling (for real, love that singing). The Andean flute stylings really sell the “Dragon Roost Island” feel. Well produced, mixed, and played by all instruments. Always love hearing more than jazz horns and metal guitars.
Both a really neat piece of music to listen to on its own, but also very evocative of Zelda games.

Please tell me how you got that deep throat singing.
Honestly the recording is a little garagey – which is the temu bit i guess. but the playing is REALLY good anon. Great job.

Great vibes. Love how the cajon sits in the mix, that’s actually a really hard instrument to mic right. Wow, just abusing that guitar at the end. Really creative arrangement!

Real whistling and throat singing makes this one really stand out. The whistle playing is cool. That acoustic guitar solo is really wild! The mixing is a bit louder than I’d expect for this style. Overall, this was super interesting, glad I got to hear it.

The instrumentation here is SO good, it fits great with the Layton block that came before it. I feel like you mixed this one a bit aggressively, the intro feels like it’s pumping a bit from overcompression and you’re getting some crunch. As a showcase of different instruments though, this brings an incredible level of variety to the table and is a joy to listen to!

This is such a fascinating selection of instruments and they mesh together really well. The playing is also really tight. If I had a complaint, it would be that I wished that the arrangement had more dynamic range. It feels a little too dynamically compressed, which is entirely a personal opinion thing. Also I do feel this could be a little longer 😁

Holy moly, pulling out all the stops in the beginning: THROAT SINGING and WHISTLING! Overall track is a bit loud, specifically it is very bright. Funky flute! Love it. Cool acoustic guitar solo. OH wow, it goes places. How did you make those effects? Are you scraping above the neck? Very fun arrangement! I just wish the mix were a little less bright.

yessss. I feel like I’m in the room with these people. Whistling is a tad loud but not too crazy. Execution is great on this one. It feels very friendly for some reason. This was super enjoyable

sound like ff6 shadow at the begining, a little saturation problems at some point i hear
the whistling is amazing , sound like russian folk after and now the flute has enter, i know why this is calling jetrho tull from temu hahah, the little solo could be more elaborate
thx

This gives you that nice village feeling, with the shakers, guitar, and jaw harp – feels like we may be at a campfire telling a story. Guitars are really plucky, which almost gives it a nice percussive like feel. It does feel like the track as a whole may be a bit loud – but at least everything is balanced. Then the flute comes in, along with the guitars going to a more stomp like rhythm, which helps give the flute to shine as it kind of beat-boxes almost a bit. Then damn that guitar comes in with a nice riff, that is one skilled guitarist. Tone is very clean too. Only nitpick is the ending feels a biiiit to abrupt. But very innovative arrangement!

OH MAN these performances are wonderful and the arrangement is really hitting me. I’d say focusing on your mixing will yield results in a long way. For now, a little bit less crunch and more reverb would go a long way. Maybe a little less of an abrupt ending. That said, this slaps. Would love to see more in this style!

This entry is bonkers! How many instruments do you have anon? This is way fun and weird in the best way (particularly the intro and ending). Loved the whistling, flute and guitar, but it’s far too short!!
