trying to have a drink in peace but those mariachis appear out of nowhere and wont stop

This is so authentic – to a mariachi situation. A little drier sometimes but I’m not here to legislate the diageticness of our mixes as long as it sounds convincing.
god whoever did the percussion of this group is incredible (I assume group)

This guitar playing is fire. The percussion is great. This sounded like a lot of fun to put together.

Percussion is insane, the rhythmic guitar playing also sounds like it’s hitting with such force, don’t your hands hurt? These kinds of mixes always blow my mind, every instrument sounds extremely raw yet everything sounds good and powerful, how the fuck do you pull that off? I guess the playing being crazy helps. Such a happy and energetic sounding song.

Woooo bongos! Loving another aux heavy piece – bongos and shakers really get to drive this. Acoustic guitar is also top notch playing, very clean and well in line with the aux percussion. Whistles and shouts add a little bit of extra coming into the end. Not much to say, its a very sparse but very fun and well balanced arrangement – great job anon!

WoooooOOOOOHHH! Yeah! Nice percussion! Ahaha, just reading the title now! This is good! Whoever is on that hand drum is going absolutely insane, I love it. WHISTLE!!! HEYs!! CLAPS! This is so much fun. I feel the overall mix could use a little brightness to it, maybe not a shelf but a bump somewhere in the 1k-6k range, but other than that everything is audible. I love the guitar slides at 1:53.

Love the percussion a lot here. Bass feels a bit muddy in the low-ish mids (dare I say somewhere around 200-300 Hz without checking in DAW?) while the rhythm guitar gets a little masked by it there (rhythm gtr could also be a tad louder?)

Great use of acoustic instruments and HEYs. Very nice smooth production. A bit too clean and smooth for my taste given the style of music. I think having the production be a little rougher around the edges might help the vibe on this one.

SLASH MAN!!! I love this source and this genre is a great pick for it. Percussion is outstanding and the acoustic playing is also excellent. Can’t say much here, a job well done!
