This sounds like a really upbeat version of something that could appear directly in this game and I dig it, it captures a Trials of Mana vibe so well!

Nice piano playing to start this one off. Very nice drum groove, loving how those hi-hats are sizzling. Synth tones are fun and playful. Very nice tradeoffs between the different synth lines. Nice little section too for the bass and drums to shine. Overall, a fun, joyful, boppy ride!

I wike the whythmicness of that keyboawd in the intwo. Dwums that come in aftew awe veeeewy quiet, it kinda messes with my vibe. I wike the cewesta thing wead but it feews evew so swightwy off beat, maybe not snapped entiwewy to the gwid? thewe’s good gwoove potentiaw hewe but the mix feews unbawanced, dwums awe quiet, synth pad feews a wittwe bit too woud i think, thewe’s definitewy something hewe making it sound woudew than it shouwd. I weawwy dig the wead pwaying and the synth patches, but those wittwe detaiws awe taking me out of it a wittwe bit. Some smaww bawance tweaks to this is aww it needs fow a gweat gwoove.

Vocal sample in the intro is super bright compared to the mix and is jarring. Kick and snare punch appropriately!
OK overall I think the mix is lacking some balance. EQ is needed to give instruments separation, and making sure instruments have the right volume relative to each other is also key.
For example, The arpeggios on the pitched jungle percussion around 0:42 for instance is louder than everything else going on, even if it’s not brighter. I would lower the volume and use an EQ to raise the spots it needs. The lead synth at 0:55 is nice though, right where I want it to be in the mix. There’s an instrument in the background I’m noticing around 2:00 (xylophone?) that has way too much reverb on it. It just washes in the background taking up mix space.
I hope to hear this one again in the future with some touchups! I dig the instrument and synth choices.

The slightly detuned lead sound at 18 seconds is just so full of character, I like it! Drums and bass feel a little overshadowed (both volume and sound choice-wise) by all the cool midrange synth action. Drums especially are lacking punch considering the overall intensity of the arrangement, in my opinion.

This arrangement is so neat. I really like it!
Vocal sample needs less gain – drum kit needs to be turned up!!!

I really like this one, but the mix is detracting from the enjoyment a little. Loads of the instruments need frequencies rolled off or notched out so they can work with the others and they can all fit in the mix. It’s sonically very busy but I don’t hear that many elements at once. The arrangement and instrumentation is on point I think, so with a better mix, this one would improve SO much. Great job anon, good performances and arrangement. I really like it.

Powell! Such a dope source. Tons of synths here, someone going after my heart. This one is like 80% of the way to absolute banger status, the arrangement is fun and there’s a lot of fun sounds and performances. However, I think the volumes are a bit unbalanced, with a lot of the leads being much louder than the backing. There’s also a case of too much reverb in some samples, creating a ton of mood. My final mixing note is that the drums are way too tame, they are low in volume but, mostly, they’re just too safe. Tuck has often told me to make drums dirtier and this track really needs it, stick some stanky saturation in those drums, maybe even a clipper and then compress everything a shitton.
I hope the comments above don’t make you think I didn’t like this, because I actually think it’s pretty good!
