Bossa nova-esque? Everything in this one has a great authentic sound to it. It’s headbop worthy. The guitar seemed like a little too mechanical to me? The minimalism actually adds to it. The sax playing is really solid. I’m almost the target audience for this, except I was a little too old I think to get into the Pokemon series!

I really like this source, it has a nice calming chord progression. This is pretty chill and well done, the instruments sound crisp and well performed, and the instrumentation itself is also pretty neat! A fucking upright bass!!! Some of the performances aren’t as rhythmically locked in as I’d like, but it’s nothing major, I do think this would sound a lot better with a little reverb though, right now it sounds a little bit too dry. I think the piano could do more for support as well, it feels like it’s playing either too in the background or doing very little too support (especially the left hand which seems entirely absent?) and makes the arrangement as a whole feel like it’s missing something.

Very interesting vibe here, kind of an old time vibe thats a bit sparse. Saxophone takes a nice lead as the solo, and drums and aux percussion are balanced well considering the lower volume instruments and the brushes being used. Bass and guitar are also very clean. The second sax solo gives a nice little pop of extra energy, very well done. This arrangement shows that not everything needs to be super heavy to be good, a nice sparse arrangement can also be very enjoyable

NICE. A major key version of this is unexpectedly pleasant! Nice sax playing! I do kind of wish there were slightly more panning separation between the lead acoustic guitar and sax when together, but that’s a super small nitpick. Very cool! Great idea.

Just a nice, chill vibe going on. The bass is definitely a highlight to me.
I feel like the sax could use a little pitch correction here and there, it’s off just enough to my ear that I start paying attention to it. I’m not entirely sure if it’s just the sax or if the acoustic guitar contributes to the slight clashing. It’s not major in either case.

Very cute thing we’ve got with this one. Feels like I’m walking down the street in a really good fucking mood saying hi to all my neighbors. Sound wise, the production is pretty good but performance wise it could be tighter. Each individual element does well, but at times, the different instruments just don’t feel super locked in with each other.

I love the vibe that this has in terms of playing and arrangment !!
The mix is a little bit on the dry side! Definitely could use some more reverb particularly on the saxes.

Title typo is killing me. This one is kind of a cute combo of instruments. I don’t recall the original perfectly but given the title I’m assuming this is like a major version of Viridian Forest? Fun idea! Production is kind of understated though, everything sounds quiet and nothing really stands out. Performances are great though.
Overall, well done!
